International Women's Day 2023: 13 Female Marketers We Admire

As part of our celebration of International Women’s Day 2023, we’re recognizing the many achievements and contributions made by women in marketing. Here are thirteen female marketers who are using their talents to promote change and create more opportunities for women in marketing!

2. Heather Hurst, VP of Marketing at Canopy

Heather has more than 15 years of experience developing marketing strategies and corporate messaging for small to medium-sized businesses. She specializes in using storytelling to help companies connect and form relationships with their customers, building a loyal customer base and increasing brand recognition. 

She's equally as passionate about developing a strong company culture. Her vast experience has proven to her time and time again that businesses with a strong culture will not only have better employee retention, but they’ll also have a higher performance because their employees are better equipped to work as a cohesive team.

3. Lisa Devashrayee-Oaks, Lead Product Marketing Manager at Billtrust

Lisa’s known for her expert marketing skills as a product manager. In her time with 3M, Verisys, Domo, and, most recently, Billtrust, she’s found success by doing one thing: being brilliant at the basics. She firmly believes that perfecting your basic marketing skills is the key to overall improvement and seeks to help other marketers understand that emails, blogs, and even website copy are all important pieces of a larger marketing picture.
