Meet Comma’s 2025 Inaugural Marketing Minds Council

An African proverb says, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go TOGETHER." 

At  Comma Copywriters, we believe this is true. That’s why we host the Marketing Minds Council — to seek community, gain unique insights, and grow personally and professionally. 

The council comprises eight executive marketing leaders, each representing a different industry. The Marketing Minds Council meet quarterly, share challenges, learn from each other’s experiences, and share strategies for success. 

Meet the 2025 Council:

Mark Boothe, CMO at Domo

Mark brings over 15 years of diverse marketing experience and is passionate about driving Domo’s business growth through marketing initiatives. His mission is to empower all Domo customers and prospects with the insights and tools they need to make better business decisions and achieve their goals. In his previous role as VP of Community, Partner, and Field Marketing, Mark and his teams established new and strengthened existing programs to address customer pain points and create a greater sense of community. Before joining Domo, Mark spent more than 10 years working in customer relations and marketing at Adobe and worked at Instructure as its senior director of customer marketing. He received his MBA from Utah State University and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

Ryan George, CMO at Docupace

Ryan George is the Chief Marketing Officer at Docupace. He serves as the company’s “chief diplomat” evangelizing the company’s people, solutions and brand across the financial services/wealth management industry. Ryan has spent his two-decade career within the financial advice and investment space, previously serving as Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications at 1st Global. George’s leadership roles earned him inclusion as a Finalist in the ThinkAdvisor LUMINARIES Class of 2023 and Class of 2022. George was also named a Finalist for Chief Marketing Officer of the Year in 2023 (Technology) and 2019 (Broker-Dealer) by WealthManagement.com. In 2023, Wealth Solutions Report named George to the "CMO 10" — honoring the top CMOs in wealth management. Ryan, a graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, is passionate about the power of sound financial planning and the pursuit of a purpose-driven career. 

Angela Goldman, VP of Marketing at 3Pillar

Angela Goldman is a marketing leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth for technology companies, from pre-IPO startups to Fortune 500 organizations. Currently serving as the Vice President of Marketing at 3Pillar, Angela oversees the full scope of marketing responsibilities in service of driving brand awareness, pipeline and revenue for the organization. Her early career experiences at Bloomberg Industry Group, Blackboard, XM Satellite Radio, and Sprint Nextel allowed Angela to refine her skills in customer marketing, acquisition strategies, and cross-functional team leadership, culminating in over 25 years of marketing expertise.


Angela holds an MBA from Georgetown University and a BA in Psychology from Wake Forest University. She is passionate about mentoring high-performance teams and driving impactful marketing strategies that elevate brands and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Kyle Hamer, SVP of Marketing at hh2

Kyle Hamer is a revenue innovator in the B2B SaaS space with more than 20+ years of experience in sales, marketing, and operations. Having transformed sales organizations, rebuilt marketing teams, and led go-to-market strategies for high-velocity global companies, Kyle understands the value of getting the right mix of systems, people, and processes for success. He’s worked with various investment organizations, including VISTA, Roper Technologies, Greater Sum Ventures, Capstreet, and privately held companies. He’s mentored start-ups, launched new products for Fortune 1000 companies, and been a steadying hand for go-to-market teams as companies change ownership. When Kyle isn’t working with teams to unlock their potential, you’ll find him podcasting, chasing around his family of 6, and figuring out how to make the world’s best pork shoulder.

John Huntinghouse, VP of Marketing at TAB Bank

John Huntinghouse serves as the Vice President of Marketing at TAB Bank, where his innovative leadership has transformed the marketing department, driving record-breaking growth. With over 16 years of experience in both B2B and B2C marketing, John excels in utilizing data analytics, demand generation, and digital marketing to craft strategies that significantly boost revenue and market share. He was named Utah Business Magazine’s 2022 Marketer of the Year, and in 2024, TAB Bank’s marketing team was named the 2024 Marketing Team of the Year. Beyond his executive role, he imparts his knowledge as an adjunct professor of marketing at Weber State University, helping shape the next generation of marketers. John also serves as a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Board, contributing to thought leadership in the marketing industry.

Heather Hurst, VP of Marketing at Canopy

Heather Hurst is VP of Marketing at Canopy, where she connects the company’s leading products with the audiences they serve. Heather is a lifelong marketer, starting with a jingle to promote a third-grade group invention, and scaling from there through agencies and B2C and B2B brands. She’s made a career out of leading transformational marketing and brand initiatives. With a commitment to “customer-first, integrated marketing,” Heather has a 20+ year track record of success building authentic brands, launching innovative products, creating categories, and scaling businesses in a variety of industries.

Megan Jacobsen, VP of Sales & Marketing at Gills Onions

Farming is truly a labor of love. As a fourth-generation farmer’s daughter from Fresno County, it is safe to say that agriculture is woven into Megan Jacobsen’s DNA. Raised in the fresh grape, raisin, and wine grape industry, she now calls the fresh vegetable industry home, serving as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Gills Onions, one of the world’s largest fresh-cut onion processing facilities. Every day, Megan gets to share with customers her passion for healthy soil and how we grow and consume our food. Like the many layers found within an onion, our food supply chain is complex. She enjoys helping food service chefs and buyers navigate these complexities to bring the freshest ingredients to consumers. 

Jennifer (Black) Janke, CMO at Vasion

Jennifer Janke is passionate about building and creating high-performing marketing teams that combine great storytelling and the right data to drive revenue. She is currently the CMO at Vasion, a technology company focused on helping companies on their digital transformation journey. Previously, Jen was VP of Marketing at Chargeback, where she played a key role in the company’s acquisition by Sift, the leader of digital trust and safety. Prior to that, Jen held marketing roles at Ragnar Relay, ExpertVoice, Nice InContact, and Lumin Publishing. She has a B.S. in Marketing from Utah State University and an MBA from the University of Utah.
